This treatment is an excellent start to the acne prevention process but, remember, it is a continuous process! I advise you to use Dermalogica products that will address the four main factors that contribute to acne:
- Overactive sebaceous glands – Dermalogica’s acne range of products include ingredients that are sebum-regulating agents which, in turn, eliminate the food source for the bacteria and eliminate the oily shine that you get during the day.
- Cell accumulation – I will gently exfoliate surface cells to help you eliminate the impacted follicles which triggers the early stages of comedone formation.
- Bacteria – Demalogica’s product range has a bacteria-controlling ingredient to eliminate the bacteria on the skin’s surface and in the follicle, enabling you to control the source of fatty acids that contribute to irritation.
